Flange is also called flange plate. All the connecting parts which are closed at the same time by using bolt connection at the periphery of two planes are generally called “flange“, such as the connection of ventilation pipe, this kind of parts can be called “flange parts”. But this kind of connection is only a part of the equipment, such as the connection between the flange and the water pump, so it is not easy to call the water pump “flange parts”. Smaller ones, such as valves, can be called “flange parts”. The reducer flange is used for the connection between the motor and the reducer, as well as the connection between the reducer and other equipment. Connection method flange connection is to fix two pipes, pipe fittings or equipment on a flange plate respectively, and then add flange gasket between the two flange plates, and fasten them together with bolts to complete the connection. Some pipe fittings and equipment have their own flange, which also belongs to flange connection.
